The new generation of performing musicians in classical music lives in a world where it seems there is only room for a few stars. But just like the millions of stars in the sky, these musicians in their own way, with their own individual fire, pass on the spark of a great musical heritage to the people of today.

In a world in which the development of a career depends not only on talent, well-structured supervision is essential. The International Holland Music Sessions creates opportunities for young talented musicians. The International Holland Music Sessions makes use of its worldwide network to discover these talents. The young musicians are offered support in finding their way to the international concert stage, not only through musical coaching, but also by intensive supervision and the creation of numerous opportunities for gaining stage experience. Thanks to its globally renowned formula for career development, The International Holland Music Sessions is able to help truly gifted musicians to realize their dreams and achieve their goals.

Since 1988 master classes form the core of The International Holland Music Sessions. During the Summer Academy in Bergen NH, a new generation of soloists is intensively supervised by internationally renowned musicians and pedagogues, representing top institutions from all over the world. The Summer Academy also forms the basis from which the young musicians are selected to take their steps on the road to the international concert stage. The quality and international reputation have put the Summer Academy on the map throughout the world.

Within the concept of The International Holland Music Sessions, stage experience is an essential element in a beginning career. The talents who stand out there are given the opportunity to participate in the Summer Academy.
