Spring is the time of bloom and hope. This spring Herman Braun Foundation opens the First International Youth Music Festival Avanti! offering performance opportunities to talented students of music schools, colleges and the Academy of Music of Latvia, as well as foreign guests.
This year 12 concerts in one part take place on April 6, 7, 13 and 14 in the Art Museum “Rîgas birţa”(Riga Bourse). During the two week period the students may participate in master classes of well-known teachers in different specialities.
The Festival will provide an opportunity to young, talented musicians perform in front of a wide audience, and concerts is the basic provision for musicians to grow and develop, prove one’s abilities and compare oneself to the peers. The Festival will become the place to bring to light new names, open up new careers and select options for perfecting the mastery. It will also be the straightest way to the listeners’ hearts.
When buying a ticket to the concert, you may also visit the exhibition “Romantic Era Art”. The ticket price is 5 Lats.
You are also offered an opportunity to devote the whole day to music and the Museum. To do it you should buy a day ticket to the three announced concerts and you may not only listen to music, visit the exhibition, but also see the regular exhibition of the Museum. The day ticket price is 10 Lats.
Pupils and pensioners are eligible to tickets and day tickets at discount prices: the ticket price is 3 Lats, and the day ticket price is 7 Lats. The amount of reduced-price tickets is limited.
