Artur Tsinguyev was born in Riga in 1985. He’s won his first laurels in France in 1994 at the Concours Musical de France junior’s competition. After studies at Emils Darzins Riga Music College (Prof. A.Paze) and master-classes (Prof. L.Berman, Prof. V,Krainev etc), Artur continues studies with Prof. Eliso Virsaladze at Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory.

He distinguished himself as a soloist in a number of international piano competitions and festivals in Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Poland, Sweden, Czech Republic, Holland, Germany and France. Artur is successful in ensemble playing as well.

Journalists call him “the Northern Chopin” not only for his appealing appearance and fair hair, but also for the romantic charm and the depth of his interpretations.
